Our pastors, Pastors Timothy Madsen and Wendy Buckley work very hard and involve themselves in every aspect of our church. Pastor Buckley is responsible for church administration, our youth program, and parish visitation. Pastor Madsen helps with worship planning and adult education. Other pastoral responsibilities, including leading Sunday worship services are shared . Both pastors can be reached at church, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until noon.

Pastors Madsen and Buckley are a husband-wife team who have worked together since their ordination in 1984. They both hold Masters of Divinity degrees from the Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago. Prior to coming to St. Paul's they served at St. John's Lutheran Church in rural Scribner, Nebraska and St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Uehling, Nebraska from 1984-1993. They were Senior Pastors at First Lutheran Church in Omaha, Nebraska from 1993-2000.

Additionally, Pastor Madsen was a part-time faculty member at Midland Lutheran College from 1985-1993. In 1998, Pastor Buckley helped to found the Temme House, a neighborhood outreach ministry in Omaha.
