ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Annual Meeting

St Paul's Annual meeting will be on January 31, 2021 at 10:00am.  It is likely that the meeting will be held virtually via Zoom.  Reports from the past year will be reviewed and a financial plan for the new year will be passed.
Zoom Roundtable
During the month of January each Wednesday  at 7:30 pm there will be a Zoom meeting and roundtable discussion  seeking everyone's input  for the call process. Each week will have some guided questions designed to help you imagine St. Paul's next phase and share your perspectives in selecting the new Pastor.

Online Worship
Currently our worship is only online while this pandemic winds down.  But that doesn't mean it won't have all of the elements that in person worship has. On the St. Paul's home page there are buttons to link you to a worship folder, and a link to the youtube channel for St. Paul's and that will include a pre-recorded worship service lead by Pastor Adam and Patrick accompanying with music.  Use the worship folder to follow along at home, with scripture and music. You can access the service at a time that is convenient for you.  Communion is not available online, but if you need communion Pastor Adam can be reached at 402-613-0335.

No wreaths or crosses this year
Because we will not meet in person and a few other logistical challenges, St. Paul's will not be ordering and selling Christmas wreaths or crosses this year.  Thanks for understanding.

Offerings:
As the year comes to a close don't forget to include St. Paul's in your charitable giving, any donations up to $300 are a tax deduction that do not require itemization for the year 2020.

FRIENDS OF THE NIGHT PEOPLE -   Friends  of the Night People and St Paul's are reaching out to volunteers for the 4th Monday 4:30pm to 7:30pm .Without saying, the need is great. Without saying, the need is greater and more challenging.
PLEASE text Lee Clukey at 716 631-9855 if there is any chance you may want to volunteer.

MORE NEWS FROM FRIENDS OF THE NIGHT PEOPLE:   Faith White has been in contact as well with The staff at Friends.  They have begun serving meals on Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 5-7 pm.  The numbers of meals served and needs of those they help continues to grow.  Last year from March through September they served 18,788 meals.   This year, that number has increased dramatically for the same time period to 80,064.   The need is greater than ever, especially as they prepare for the upcoming holiday season and winter.

Faith White noted that there is a great need for clothing for men, women and children, especially coats, boots, gloves and hats but also blankets and sleeping bags.  Those items/donations can be dropped at church or call Faith at 688-4478 if you need her to pick up your donations (leave a message if necessary).

DASH’S REGISTER TAPES: St. Paul’s gets $2.50 for every $100 in tapes! Please save your tapes, ask your friends & neighbors to save them too, then bring them to church and put them in the box in the narthex or the envelope on the social hall bulletin board.

THE LOCKPORT FOOD PANTRY needs cake mixes, canned meats, canned fruit (except peaches), toothbrushes & toothpaste, shampoo, soap, and hand & body lotion. Diane Busdiecker will deliver your donations. Thank you for supporting this ongoing project.
