Ministry of Music

Chancel Choir
the Chancel Choir provides traditional Lutheran music at worship and periodically during the year at special services such as the "Lessons and Carols" service during Advent. Choir members rehearse weekly in preparation for regular services and festivals during the year. Music Director Marilyn Pfisterer welcomes new voices to add to the choir.

Bells of St. Paul's
St. Paul's Ringers
The Bells of St. Paul's are an accomplished Bell Choir whose gifts enhance worship for everyone. Generally, members of this choir are experienced bell ringers and together with our Music Director, have attended bell ringing conferences to increase their skills.
St. Paul's Ringers are a more entry level Bell Choir making participation possible for those who have more limited music talent and/or experience.

Worship Assistants


Members of our Deacons group serve as Worship Assistants in our Sunday Worship services. They read scripture, offer prayer and serve communion side by side with our Pastors. Their participation provides parishioners with lay leadership and enriches the Deacons own worship experience.

Social Ministry

A major ministry strength at St. Paul's is our active Social Minstry Program. Samples of our activities are listed here:
Friends of the Night People - St Paul's provides a serving team one Monday each month and provides help in the kitchen various times each month. Clothing and seasonal turkey donations are all part of our participation.
Friends in Deed - provides meals for shut-ins, lunches for funerals, dinners for people just home from the hospital, and much more!
North Buffalo Food Pantry - is helped with regular donations collected by Social Ministry.
Buffalo Lutheran Employment Service - serves inner city adults with help preparing for and attaining employment. Social Ministry provides clothing and financial help from fund-raising events.
Angel Tree Project - is a Christmas time project where our Social Ministry volunteers arrange for the "adoption" of the children at a needy city school to provide Christmas gifts.
Twin Falls Cluster - St. Paul's is an active member of this group of Lutheran Churches who work together on various project in the area.
